Accessibility
Bible J, made to be accessible.
Bible J is designed so more people can read Scripture, journal, pray, and reflect in ways that work for them. We support accessibility features built into your device, and we keep improving the experience across the app.
Designed around the way you use Bible J
Journal your way
You can type your entries, or use voice when speaking is easier. Either way your journal is stored the same, and you can always edit what was written down.
Your recordings stay yours
When you record a voice note, the recording itself is kept alongside the text, so you can always listen back to your own words rather than only reading a transcription of them.
Choose the appearance that suits you
Bible J offers a light and a dark appearance, and can follow your device setting or change with the time of day. You can also set the text size you read Scripture at.
We're continuing to improve
Accessibility is an ongoing part of how Bible J is built. We're working through the app to improve how it behaves with the accessibility features on your device, and we'll describe support here as it's confirmed.
Tell us if something isn't working for you
If you run into something that makes Bible J difficult to use, we'd like to hear about it. It helps to know your device, your iOS version, and which accessibility feature you were using — but none of that is required, and you never need to tell us anything about yourself.
