If you are between 13 and the age of majority in your country, you may only use the app with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian. The app is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly allow them to create an account. By using Bible Journal you confirm that you meet these requirements.

Your content
You own all content you create in Bible Journal. We don't claim ownership of your journals, StudyCanvas work, or any other content.
By using cloud sync, you grant us the limited right to store and process your content only as necessary to provide the service. We will never use your content for any other purpose.
Subscription and payments
Free Plan: Available to all users with no payment required.
Premium Plan: Bible Journal Premium is an auto-renewable subscription, offered on a monthly or annual basis. The exact title, length, and price are shown in the app before you purchase.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google account at confirmation of purchase.
- The subscription automatically renews for the same period unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the price of the plan you selected.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple ID or Google account settings after purchase. Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription.
- If a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
- You keep access to Premium until the end of the period you've paid for. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their applicable policies.
Your use of the subscription is also governed by our Privacy Policy. For Apple devices, the standard Apple Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA) applies in addition to these terms.
Service availability
We strive to keep Bible Journal available, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or address issues that temporarily affect availability. Core offline features remain usable even when our servers are down.
Limitation of liability
Bible Journal is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We're not liable for any loss of data, though we take data protection seriously and provide export options. We recommend regular backups of your important content.
Changes to terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
Termination
You may stop using Bible Journal at any time, and you can permanently delete your account and data from within the app (Profile → Delete account). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, you retain the right to export your data beforehand.
Governing law
Bible Journal is operated from the United States. Except where local law requires otherwise, these terms are governed by the laws of the U.S. state in which our operating entity is established and applicable U.S. federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
Your local rights still apply. If you are a consumer, nothing in these terms removes mandatory protections you have under the laws of your country or state of residence, including, where applicable, EEA/UK consumer and data-protection law and U.S. state consumer laws. Where those laws give you stronger rights, those rights prevail. See our Privacy Policy for region-specific privacy rights (EEA/UK and California).
